Celebrity Style Steal- Ellie Goulding and Nina Nesbitt

Both Ellie Goulding and Nina Nesbitt have amazing tastes in fashion, want to recreate their looks? Keep reading for how to steal their style!

These Topshop Gingham Jeans are right on trend this season - Ellie Goulding posted a picture of her wearing them on her instagram page, pairing them with a leather biker jacket. These jeans are a must-have at only £38!

Nina posted this photo to instagram several days ago wearing a dark red River Island sweater (that's in the sale at the moment for only £30!!), a pair of Urban Outfitters Dr. Denim Plenty Jeans in Black Acid Wash (£47.00), an Accessorize Snood (which is sold out:(( ), and her own brand 'Nina Nesbitt' beanie.

In the beginning of Nina's music video 'Selfies', she is spotted wearing an Angle Contrast Sweat from Ragged Preist. This Sweater is half price at only £25..

Monochrome Magic

Sometimes its good to see things in black and white.

If you like to keep things simple, this season's monochrome trend is the perfect style solution.

Here's my pick of the best monochrome buys at the moment:

Mono Check Leggings - Topshop

Check Jumper - Miss Selfridge

Lattice Clutch Bag - Chelsea Doll

Tile Print Playsuit-

Daisy Frilly Socks - Accessorize

I first saw these leggings in store a few weeks ago,and I thought they were lovely! They would look great with some killer heels! The Clutch bag would make any plain black dress look fabulous! Frilly socks seem to be everywhere at the moment, but I have't seen any like these anywhere. Loads of socks are 3 for £8 at Accessorize too!

What do you think of these picks? Which item would you add to your wishlist?

First Ever Post

Hello lovelies!
I'm Sophie and I love fashion! I'm only 14 years old, so obviously I'm still in school but I'm a lot more mature than most other people my age! I am a dancer, and have been dancing since I was about 5. I compete in lot's of competitions in several styles of dance, I won't bore you by going into details though, haha!

Anyway, I've been wanting to start a blog for a while now, but I have only just got round to making one. I don't have a clue how I came up with the name Preppy Rose, it just came to me one day whilst I was thinking about making a blog. I'm not too sure about it though and may change it in the future (please tell me your opinions in the comment section below)
My blog is mainly just going to be about affordable high-street fashion, but occasionally I might post beauty, makeup or hair tips! Also, I love to bake so I might let you in on some of my yummy recipes!
This is a rainbow cupcake I made a few months ago:

So I think that's about and advice would be much appreciated but please remember this is the first time I've ever made a blog and I'm not too sure what to write...

lot's of love
Sophie :) xx
